Use of Images and Your Privacy
Following the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) , every client has the right to know where their photographs get used and how they get used. They also have a right to know where they are stored, for how long and what happens to them after they are transferred to you.
Photographs are captured on two cameras using SD Memory Cards and are backed up to an external hard drive and on my One Drive cloud storage at the end of photoshoot for security. By doing this it ensures that they are super secure in the unlikely event that anything should happen to my laptop, cameras or memory cards. Online galleries are stored for 12 months only.
Social Media
In addition to my website and to enable my business to grow I do need to have an online presence which is achieved with the use of social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram I may (and only with your written permission) ask to display images from your photoshoot on my website or social media; it is important at this point to state that permission can be withdrawn at any point simply by emailing ruth_clements@mcauleymedia.co.uk
Data Protection Officer
GDPR introduces a duty to appoint a data protection officer (DPO). As a sole trader I, Ruth Clements will act as the Data Protection Officer. Any questions or concerns you have in relation to Data Protection should be emailed to ruth_clements@mcauleymedia.co.uk
